Going off the number of blown TDV8 engines posted on here I would be very careful buying this. If you must get it checked and ensure you put a cast iron warranty on it Confused

Many owners love them but when they go wrong it's a nightmare Sad

You can spend same again on an engine and that's if you can find one Rolling Eyes Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

Still hoping for a S2 one day!

This might look like a cheap luxury 4x4 and the one owner sounds nice but these are not cheap to repair if things go Sad

I'm on my second new one so lucky enough to be covered by warranty but I have read the painful posts of owners and I would never have one without warranty now despite running other LR's without a care in the past Embarassed Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

In all honesty from the pics it does look like a very tidy Sport - totally original ( updated alloys ). If it had 87000 less miles then maybe - but as already mentioned it really is not worth the risk - these motors can be money pits Big Cry

Is it me or is the spare wheel missing Rolling Eyes

i would say for one owner to keep it for 7 years and 187k miles its proberly not a money pit, but price is too much and you wont get a warrenty on with them miles, if they offer on e read the small print as it probly cover nothing after a certai miles

Nearly 13k. I think for an extra 1k or so you'll find one with almost half the miles. I'm not Fat. RRS TDV6 HST.
