It seems the sloshing in my car is worst when the tank is near half full. I can even hear it from outside the car now. I stopped the car today and jumped out quickly and the sloshing noise from the back was very evident |

call me suspicious, but I'm sure there was a technical bulletin called something like "fuel slap" on the Land Rover diagnostics website, under the L494. I cant see it listed any more. |

Just read this thread after a month or so away... I've had this from day 1, the noise is very audible and it is a PITA especially on a £60k motor. I have a paint issue so the car is going in to the dealers in two weeks so i mentioned the annoying fuel sloshing noise and was told that there is a technical bulletin from JLR and when the car goes in they will sort it too some of my Previous cars

Interestingly, coming from an XF which suffers the same issue. I wonder in the fuel tanks are common across the JLR range or if there is just a standard design fault..! |
