Never had a cracked alloy myself, why not lodge a claim with your local council? You will need all the details of the offending pothole though. |

Not sure, however I think some people have fitted a 20inch tyre with a 45 aspect ratio. In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures

No point. Range Rover sport not fit for purpose. This is the 3rd time 😥 I have an AC Cobra replica with 18 inch wheels at 35 profile and 285 wide. No issues and also a trusty 18 year old Audi A4 with steel wheels and high profile (16" inch?) wheels. No issues. Range Rover sport wheels are too wide, too low profile and too much weight on them. RRS = ReallyRatherShit |

Fit a set of standard 19" Alloys, you will get the best ride and won't suffer with anymore damage.. |

Does it keep happening on the same corner or is it a different wheel from the original set that's broken each time? Could of been a bad batch from the factory. Something's definatly amiss, it's not common.

Our 2014 has 22s with 275. No problems yet and we probably drive some of the same roads. Beth's RS Focus has 19s with 245/35 and no issues yet. Must be down to luck or lack of. Have you had issues on the same bit of road?? Graham. |

Most places are around £60 + vat one place was £30 + vat Unfortunately, we have never had a repaired one re-crack a new crack has always been on one that was never welded before. Perhaps I should get a ring of welding all round on the inside where it flexes due to wheels being too wide? |

Original crack was front left, then back left and yesterday back right. I am now thinking of getting the original range rover sport! I mean a Discovery! Proper wheels and bit more room inside. We were thinking of getting a new motor next year so toying with the idea of spending £xxx? on new wheels/tyres on this RRS or cutting our losses and getting a new motor. I really do think I Discovery 4 ticks all the boxes for us. |

What tyres do you have on it? Are they correctly rated for the vehicle? Be worth checking that the alloys are the correct ones too. Wouldn't be the first time a dealer has sold a RRS with incorrectly rated footwear... 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
