Spain

Sorry then, I think you have just been unfortunate. In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures
Gone - A couple of RRS, A couple of Disco's. However thinking of another Sport.

I still wonder if they're genuine LR wheels or if they've just been badly kerbed and badly repaired at some point before you bought the vehicle. When I bought my TDV8 it had the 20inch S/C wheels on it. They needed work and the tyres were the incorrect load rating for the vehicle (and one of them was badly chafed on the sidewall). This was at a LR main dealership so don't just assume that LR dealerships get it right.

I also believe that there are aftermarket copies of the genuine LR 20inch wheels about. Presumably marketed for those who want the later look on an earlier car at a low price. You'd need to take a wheel off and check the back of the spokes for the Land Rover logo and load rating. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Yes the alloys are genuine 'quality' Land Rover parts!

It shouldn't affect your warranty or insurance if you use LR wheels designed for your vehicle and fit tyres in the recommended size/load range for those wheels. Always worth checking with your insurance company to make sure but so long as it's a manufacturer approved wheel and tyre size you should be fine.

I run 255/55/19 Grabber AT on mine (Disco size) and have had no problem with LR's extended warranty. I informed my insurance company of the tyre size change and they were happy.

Those alloys with your choice of tyre sound like the best bet.

What is the ride quality like exactly on 255/55/R19 compared to the standard 275 x 40 R20 wheels/tyres?

We do like the way the RRS drives like a normal car (note we do not drive it like we stole it, we just drive normally but appreciate it doesn't roll like a boat around corners/roundabouts)

Just wondered if it is a lot more hollowly on 255/55/R19's? as my wife can get travel sick (hence why we chose RRS rather than full fat)

Thanks

Paul

That's the same reason I went for RRS rather than FFRR! No nausea reported with the 255/55/19 fitted. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
