Hello everyone. Just joined as I want to buy an RRS. Took one for a test drive a couple of weeks ago - then came on here and realised I knew about 5 per cent of what I need to about it's.......quirks!!

So, I am reading avidly, looking at all the buying advice, and hoping to take the plunge before too long.

Great forum and great moderators too from what I remember - I was a member many moons ago when I had a Disco 3 and was very fond of this forum - great to be back.

Im desperately seeking a RRS TDV8 HST - if anyone knows of one on here, ideally a members vehicle, for sale then please let me know, have cash waiting for the right car.

After ages trying to convince the wife that an RRS would be a great idea, I went ahead and got one anyway!

I have come from Defenders for the last 5 years, so the smooth, quiet running is all very new to me.

I have a 2006 HSE TDV6 in Zermatt Silver (pretty high mileage at 125k) which the last owner has colour coded and chromed some parts.

I may look to reverting some bits back to the original look over time.

I have been reading through the posts for the last few weeks or so and there is lots of useful stuff on here and I hope I can contribute as well over time.

Hi, I have just bought my first sport, it's a 2005 4.2 SC, low mileage at 65,000 with full service history.
It is a very dark green, not sure of the actual colour name yet, but will look into it.
As soon as the rain stops I will get it washed and put some photos up.
All seems ok at the moment but I've only had it a day!
I was wondering if anyone can recommend a good independent garage for services near Orpington/ Bexleyheath area
