Hi All

Tomorrow, I will turn my car in to get a mobile phone fitted with cable to the PTI system. The bluetooth connection is just to much of a hassle and I'm missing my phone book! Mad

Hi and welcome.
Nescio quid dicas Wink My understanding was that unless the PTI came factory fitted, it was near impossible to get it retro-fitted in a completely integrated manner (for instance, cannot use the screen to dial etc)........ RRS 2.7TDV6 HSE Java Black, Sun Roof, Tasmod Sills

Hi bigdwarf, I have PTI factory fitted, no problems here. I didn't have a mobile phone connected to it using a cradle and a cable yet and was just using the Bluetooth connection. With the phone in the craddle I will be able to download my phonebook to the PTI an use the screen to access it. Me transmitte sursum, caledoni!

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Bonatti Grey

Just saying 'Hello' and 'Thank you' to all you enthusiasts / devotees / obsessives / nutters (select whichever applicable) out there in RRSUK for the information, advice & entertainment since I found the site by chance after ordering a TdV6 RRS in March.

Now I know what a fuel burning heater is, how they SHOULD be cleaned, that white is the new black and who wouldn't touch ivory leather! And having a download of the complete handbook I thought I was an expert!

Went through periods of doubt since ordering - the cost - is it the 'right' colour - should I have the Dynamic pack - did I mention the cost? But collected it last Sunday and all doubts forgotten!

TdV6 HSE, Bonatti Grey, Ivory leather/Aspen interior, Premium Audio, sun roof, PTI, side steps, driving lights, interior carpet & loadspace rubber mats.

After 12 years in Discoveries (last 3 in Td5 ES D2) - so no knocking here - wanted something more involving to drive without 7 seats.

But what a difference - smoooooooooth ride, very quiet inside, accelleration & a responsive engine, crystal clear (and loud) Logic 7 for my tastes (heavy symphonies etc), great seats and 30.5 mpg indicated so far!

And did I mention the cost? Well who cares now, it's only a bank loan!

Great site - keep up the good work folks!

I'll have to borrow the works digital camera (I've only got 'film'), suss how to use it & to upload, wash the car...but yes I'd be pleased to.

Ahhh - wondered why it was so quiet - not a follower myself!

Welcome new folks!! Thumbs Up

As you see, we take our RRS ownership very seriously unlike those D3 types who are always going on about scantily clad women - personally I think they are a bunch of perverts.... or maybe I have that the wrong way round? Confused

Pics into the gallery please, so we can all see!! Instructions for doing can be found in the Site Announcements section.
