Morning,

Just wondering if someone could tell me what the dimension differences are between the 06-09 side vet, and the 10-12 vents?

Ive seen a lovely pair of vents for the 10-12, fr another eBay bargain price as they are slightly damaged, and was wondering if anyone out there had tried to modify a set to fit 06-09?

Ive had a forum search, but havent had much success?

Won't fit due to fitment issues. You will need to replace both front wings, front bumper and headlights, grille etc. 2014 L405 SDV8 RR Autobiography

I know that the 10-12 do not fit earlier models, the question was does anyone know the physical difference in size? Im just trying to work out the level of work that would be required if this option was chosen.

Its a set of Khan design (With two square vents).

With the existing standard vents (06-09) does the centre of them come out to reveal a frame, or is the plastic all one piece? Ideally I would like an 06-09 frame to work from. 2006 HSE for Sale - £7,499 (Manchester)

I don't know if I have the balls to start messing with the actual wings. My DIY skills aren't great!!

If I'm doing something it needs to be off the car, so I can go back and forth when I have a bit of free time.

Hi, yes on the early vents the rear mesh and blades can be easily removed from the outer frame by releasing the retaining clips. Don't how much modification would be required to to fit the later mesh and blades to the early outer frame, could be interesting, keep us posted.

If the earlier ones can be dismantled then that makes it a little more interesting...

I might buy a cheap 2nd hand pair to have a play around with. Although I'm expecting a call in the next 20minutes to collect my car from an inspection... So I might be budgeting for something else within the next hour!!  2006 HSE for Sale - £7,499 (Manchester)
