Remap or Tuning box

Hi guy's,
I have a tuning chip that has been used on my last few cars and I am unsure weather to use it or get a remap done.
The chip is a speedhawk box that I got because when you change your car you are able to contact the manufacturer, who then sends a new file to upload.
I removed it from my freelander 2 when I bought the rrs last week and after reading this forum need advise on remapping.
The local firm that remaps will check for fault codes then install Evolution map with a 30 day money back guarantee for £250.
I have the new file for the Speedhawk box.......which way do you good people think I should go. I can e-bay the speedhawk recover some of the cost.
Thanks in advance
Pete

As you would expect there are divided views on the subject, particularly concerning tuning boxes.

If you put both options into the search engine you will have a couple of hours of reading to mull over the advantages and consequences of each option. My opinion of tuning boxes, due to their inability to change only one parameter, is also well documented.
