Well that's interesting. Mine has them fitted so I guess a previous owner must have complained.

Fair enough. Not sure I'd be wanting to unbolt the body from the chassis on my driveway but good luck with it! 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

you don't have to the blocks just bolt to the chassis , they don't do anything apart from stop the sound , the holes are already in the chassis 2007 SUPERCHARGED HST |

I think the blocks sit over the chassis rails and the bolts just locate them. They are free swinging when in place - that's how they work. In order to get them in you'd need to lift the rear of the body to give clearance. At least, that was my understanding from previous discussions about these blocks.

Hi,any thought on my knock! I replaced the lower wishbones but I still have the same knock, the car rides without noise and can go up speed bumps without noise, but if the wheels go down into a pot hole or man hole lid the front end makes a cluck, I've had it back to garage that replaced the wishbones but they said there no play on any joints that would make this sound, could it be the mass damper, will these be fitted to my 05 supercharger ? If you look at the pictures on page 1 of this thread which I posted some years back, you can see the bolts which hold each damper in place. |
