Hi I'm gary, should be collecting my first RRS this weekend.
Been doing a lot of reading on here, security of the car seems a worry at the moment.

Hi , I have just joined from Melbourne Australia after buying a 2005 Supercharged Sport. There doesn't seem to be any specific forum here in Aust.
My first CAR was a ROVER hand me down from my mother and I have always been keen to get another. The Sport suits my objectives of 4wd,comfort and towing capacity.
I look forward to being firstly a 'sponge' than as time progresses helping other members where possible.

Purchased my 57 plate 2.7 HSE beginning of July and it went OK for 2 weeks (till I was on holiday 40miles N of Inverness) then clicked into 'limp' with warnings on dash of:-
Engine system fault
Trans fault limited gears available
HDC fault system not available
Park brake fault
except it was worse than this as it gradually slowed to a halt and defo would not climb even the slightest hill-switching off and on after a pauses got it going again for between 100yds and several miles!
Anyway after recovery to Inverness 4x4 it got a new temp switch in sump and seemed to be OK -got me home anyway.
Then it happened again-same symptoms-AA sent out a LR diagnostics expert (in35mins -how???) He followed me to 4Plus4 in leeds after saying it was giving him 'Low pressure in fuel rail' and recommended trying a new fuel filter -duly done by Brian and the guys at 4plus4.
Following week (in Scarborough with the caravan on the back) it happened again-home in a rec truck in the rain!!
Anyway back to Brian again this time for a new low pressure fuel pump-as he said no guarantees but hoped it was the culprit- this time it seems to have worked!!!!
This is no ones fault but thanks to the guys at 4plus4 for getting to the bottom of it and throwing in a brimmed tank of diesel for the inconvenience -I love this car and desperately want it to be good!
Sorry about the long intro post but it might help someone to bottom a similar fault a bit quicker

Hello from an old newbie - previously owned a Series II SWB Landie, a 1984 classic RR, a 1996 RR, sold in 2003 and now after 11 years just agreed to buy a 2011 RRS TDV6 HSE. Have owned over fifty cars since 1961 and have loved each one for a while! Now reached the age where I wonder if this car will be my last

Well I have been reading on here, so thought I would join. I am on my search for my first RRS.

Hi all, purchased a 58 plate TDV8 recently and TBH love it, but.................................
Has had all things replaced this year, electronic handbrake/air suspension compressor/gearbox and last of all after one day of ownership left hand turbo.
The car drives like mint especially after new intercooler fitted etc, but sadly I have no faith in the beast.
It has been Bluefin chipped and I have the device.
My wife loves the car but I have the niggling feeling of body off faults putting me off future ownership.

I want to sell, any advice will be heeded.

So paid in full today for the RRS HST i have been debating over the past week or so... 100% satisfied and happy now!! Pick her up on Friday

So next question for you amazing people is... where do i get me some RRS stickers !!
