does the body have to come off to replace the hp fuel pump

It's in the V at the back of the engine, driven by the LH exhaust camshaft. According to the workshop manual it's done without removing the body. It needs a new belt and tensioner when the pump is removed. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

fairly straight forward, i find the breather assembly the hardest part of the job! theres always one boly you cant get to unless you take something else off (the engine breater) lol
