Hi Brian, the 2.7 is a V6 NOT a V8, but i'm guessing that might have been a typo If you check through the site using the search button there is plenty to check out before buying a sport.
Has it got FSH? Ie serviced every 16000 Miles or 12 months?
Is the car from a private seller or dealer?
A warranty is a must with these cars, Warranty direct seems a popular choice amongst RRS & Disco owners, there are other warranty companies which might suit your budget and cover requirements.
Has it had its cambelt changed? It should have had by now. 105000 Miles or 7 years old.
Suspension bushes, ball joints, wheel bearings etc all need to be checked for wear & tear, common failures on a sport.
Compressor for the suspension needs checking to see if its in good working order.
To be honest there is so much to check, it would be worth getting a professional to inspect the vehicle first before purchase.

during registration process I noticed that you do not have MY2014 for RRS
there is no HSE Dynamic so I choose HSE Lux
there si no Barolo Black so I choose Santorini Black

Well I've already made a few post. To find a bit more info on RRS's out as the time has come to replace my tow motor for my winch challenge truck and thinking a RRS would kill to birds with one stone by getting rid of my R32 golf and the nissan patrol.

My name is John & I've very recently bought a 2012 Autobiography Sport V8 5.0 Supercharged in Orkney Grey with a list of options fitted - due to spinal problems getting worse this may be the last car I have so I thought I'd go out with a bang rather than a whimper. Best of all it goes like **** off a shovel and puts a masssive grin on my face every time I drive it I've not got any pics of it yet but I'll get some taken & put them up later this week.
I've not driven it very far yet but based on the amazing, almost unbelievable speed the petrol tank is emptying I have an ominous feeling I'll be a frequent visitor to petrol stations

For many years I was a happy owner of a Jeep Grand Cherokee +5" lift & snorkel & 32" mud tyres + for on road 22" Lenso Titan with 295.45 General Grabber UHP and more serious offroad rig which I builded myself Jeep Cherokee +6,5" lift winch 33" mt tyres steel front back rock sliders stronger axles 4.11.

Then I moved to the 740i V8 for weekend trips and European trips.

Now Im driving 2014 Prius Hybrid and we need a family vehicle for longer journeys.

She said one day lets sell 7er and buy F10 520d but I said that you always loved RRS why not then?.
I took her to the trader in Old Windsor and she fell for it.

The moment I sold my 740i V8 was like piece of my soul was taken away... but not for long as we will buy V8 again.


I hope to learn a lot from here and Im happy to share my offroad and rig building experience.

Hello guys

Firstly what a great forum, have been browsing through the site for a long time now but have finally joined up!
Im on the hunt for a decent RRS 05/06 model preferably! Have been to see a very nice example today and seriously thinking it over! Currently got an Audi A3 so a big difference for me!

Anyway hope to get involved with the forum and hopefully be able to show off my own RRS soon!
