Have to agree with Mikey, my two V6 cars were not that clever, when I got the V8 it was the brake performance I first noticed was a vast improvement. 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀
TDV8 Sport HSE...... Gone. Loved it but it didn't love me!!
Now rolling in MY10 Fullfat TDV8 Vogue. Slammed it to go round corners🙈
Cruising daily #56 mph in a Volvo V8. 😱
Lots of other toys in the cupboard...😜

The brakes can be improved by upgrading to the 4.4 V8 brakes. Tried and tested by many on the D3 forum

I opted for the even bigger Brembo's, because I could Thumbs Up

United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Orkney Grey

Just had the brake wear light on mine come up.
Just done 17.5k miles on first set of pads.
Purchased new front and rears along with both sensor wires from local dealer at £235 (supply only).
Thought it wasn't bad for genuine parts until i opened the boxes to find Ferrodo on them. Looking on web i paid around £100 over the ferrodo prices to get a plain box with the green oval on it. I know where ill be ordering the next set from.
FYI it was the rears that where down to around 2mm and the fronts had worn around 50%. 2013 HSE Black Edition, Orkney Grey, Ivory Trim, Exterior design Pack and Privacy glass

I have been on the same set of brake pads, front and rear, for the last 50,000 miles or so. Worth saying that over half of my driving is motorway based.
Pleasantly surprised all the same. Cool

When you did rear pads, were rotors removed and resurfaced ? I need to do mine soon - got StopTech ceramic pads - get good reviews here and <$50 a set. What is min thickness spec on OEM rotors ? Thanks in advance
