I sometimes have the same issue, after some research some people tend to suggest the battery starting to go? |

These messages also appear when the compressor itself is getting worn out. 60,000 miles seems to be the average for the life expectancy of the compressor. |

Thanks for all the replies. Compressor changed at approx 40,000 so hopefully not that , also recent battery change , but not a landrover oem.

I had the same and the garage diagnosed a compressor. It is being fitted next week, but they seem certain. |

I had this fault, and it's cause was water in the connector to the rear lights on the drivers side, the rubber had come away so water could get in, I replaced the rubber and made it water tight and that has cleared the fault, apparently if the braking system senses any fault it will do this, including a blown brake light bulb |

So, turned engine on and off three times, but to no avail! Its got warranty, so not overly concerned. |

I had the same light on my sport shortly after taking delivery, it would clear on engine start up but then come on again after 30 minutes or so. I had the 4 wheel alignment done (it need it due to tyre wear) which didn't clear it, i changed out the brake pedal switch, which didn't clear it. I then renewed the discs and pads all round as i knew they were worn, i found the front wear sensor contacts were worn/broken, after changing them out i have had no more amber light. 2.7 HSE, Audi A6 Exec, Honda Accord Exec, Volvo 440, Volvo 360 |

Its bizarre how seemingly unrelated issues cause a suspension fault light! |
