It was the 996 Anniversary Edition, but it just never scratched the itch for some reason Big Cry I think it was just too clinical and soul-less if that makes sense.

I'm toying with the idea of an older air cooled…..slower but hopefully full of character and I can tinker with it. FF 4.4 V8 Soooo looking forward to this bad boy
Ex 2006 RRS SC - garbage
Ex 2016 135i M Sport - dream car
Ex 2003 RS6 Avant - piece of cr*p
Ex 2014 320d X Drive, M Sport Touring - ok I guess
Ex 2007 RRS TDV8 - bloody loved it

The air cooled are a good classic but also drive like one too. Plus cost as much as a 997.

It's definitely an inch I need to scratch but I'll either have to cut the kids legs off and stick the dog under the bonnet or wait till I have my mid life Big Cry

Scotland 2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 SE Santorini Black

Decent aircooled 911s are upwards of £20k and now pre impact bumpers start from £40k! With most in the £60-80k range Shocked

This is the one car I with I'd kept , told the lad I sold it to, to give me first dibs to buy it back, not expecting him to call 3 months later as he couldn't afford to run it! (I didn't have spare cash at the time either!)

Prodrive pack and a group N paddle clutch, it was a rocket

Hi Ady, that one was a MY00 as well, I personally imported it from Holland, the exchange rate at the time meant I paid £14000 new!! It replaced an early (95) white turbo, which I gave to my Dad. All he did was change the oil every 6 months and he traded it in 2 years ago, bullet proof! The blue ones clutch went at 5000miles hence the change to a paddle clutch.
Your P1 looks ace, I always fancied a 22b as a keeper!

Cheers

Oh, I don't know about that, I never like the newage stuff, but bought the last of the wagons, only to find the new hatchback grew on me and wished I'd waited 6 months!

This was my last one

@Ady, I would be happy with an import at low £20ks, I'd just sit and look at it!

Cheers

I'm probably being harsh Dave.
But it was "soft" in comparison to the MY03, and considering it had an additional 0.5 litres of engine capacity slightly underwelming (when you consider the other hot hatch style cars were closing the power gap significantly).

It needed 400 out the box, with low cost modding to around 450. Then the Impreza name would still have been the earth shaking force it was in the 90's (compared to other equally priced cars). I took on a friends Audi S3 (270 version) and the German was more than a match...until I got mine mapped that is... Laughing

A friend has an inported RA with 40k kms on the clock.... he's going to dry store it for a few years and make a killing Whistle RRS gone

Great photo, Waylander! Is that in Essex?

I have many regrets, but my XJR really was the puppy - low mileage and immaculate even down to its delicious lambswool rugs!

If it wasn't for the scuttle shake that all XJ's suffer from then I would probably have kept it longer. My next car, the XKR, was massive leap up in capability but a bit of a mid-life crisis... much prefer the RRS day to day. L405 P400e Autobiography (MY2020)... Silicon Silver / Espresso
RRS TDV6 HSE Lux (MY2011)... Nara Bronze / Arabica - now gone!
