United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Buckingham Blue
Sat Nav Get's Lost

Hi,

I have a 2005 RRS HSE and my sat nav keeps thinking I am over water as its all blue. All other functions work fine and it works OK very so often. I have tried buying a new disk and upgrading but it still some times thinks I am over water.

Has anyone had this problem, any advise would be gratefully received apart from changing the car for a boat!

Australia 2010 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Java Black

It sounds to me like it either needs a reset or the antenna or antenna signal is bad. I had similar before and it required a new antenna. Try the full reset first, I am not sure how you do that though. Gone - 2008 Stornoway Grey RRS 2.7 TDV6

OK have calibrated the Sat Nav and it within a few miles is lost again so it seems to be an aerial issue, does anyone have a link to a video of how to remove the aerial?

Cheers

You have to drop the roof lining at the rear, remove the two rear corner covers this allows you to drop the lining enough to get to the aerial, there is also a mounting point in the middle of the roof lining that just pulls out.
