Hi Chris, I disconnected my old cars (TDV8) battery to charge it overnight and had no problem at all when I re connected it so you should be ok MY16 AUTOBIOGRAPHY Indus silver with some toys

I would take the key out, and close all doors etc,( except bonnet obviously), I know you may only be changing the battery, but all the time the key is in, doors open etc, and engine not running,the battery whilst connected, will be being drained by these. I went for the bosh S4013 £89 on eBay. All seems ok and there are a few members on here that have used it. So I thought if there are happy I will be. |

I was having starting problems at the start of the winter as the weather got colder and replaced the OE battery which still tested good for a Varta the same size - it's made a huge difference. Cost about £100 from a local motor factor - and they delivered it to me within 30 mins! I've kept the old one and charged it - just in case it ever needs jump starting in the future! Si |
