You have to mention the forum to get these discounted prices. Nick refused to sell me the remote saying if I found what these sell for on eBay I would be upset and just gave me the part number instead |

Thanks Mike. The terminology might be slightly different in IIDTool but hopefully I should be able to work it out. Disco3 members have done it. |

I was quoted £150 by a dealer to add remote to my B.Ed (timed already fitted) then on the day they said £500 - needless to say I decided to forget about it - lot of money for simple added feature ![]() According to brochure remote was £320 option on B.Ed ![]() Timed climate was £700 on other models ![]() Still hoping for a S2 one day! |

Muddy the kit you have, first isn't needed (do you really want to call the car to start up), but I don't think is compatible given the systems on the car are more integrated. I know BAS does one for the earlier cars, but I think that's because they are different and more simple Mike

You cant text your car to turn the heating on. I'm reasonably sure, unlike the early 2010 ones (where Pete did a kit), you cant fit a GSM unit on the later cars, due to their integration.

Useful if the car is out of range of park heating remote but somewhere with GSM reception (i.e. not several levels down in an underground car park but then it will be shielded from the weather anyway). Personally I'd be content with just remote key fob operation especially as it is all OEM. |
