Hello all, I get my first rrs (first range rover actually), a 57 plate TDV8 3.6 in early March. I am so excited as I have wanted a range rover for about 30 years and it is finally happening. I am still scared about blown turbo's, body off repairs, leaking exhaust manifolds etc. but this is happening partly in response to my quite late mid-life crisis so sod it and let's see what happens.

One thing that gave me the confidence to go ahead with this is this forum and the helpful rrs "family". I know who to come to with the unexpected warning light, or knocking from below.

Just like to say hi to everyone. Very excited and gutted at the same time as its the eve of the arrival of my first RRS an 07 HSE 2.7 and i am stuck abroad working and unable to be there for the new delivery
I have been researching for a while and felt i needed a better tow car for my boat. My A6 Audi was starting to struggle.
I will post some pics up when i can, i already have a few changes in mind for my her but nothing major, just a wee tweek here and there.
From reading the posts on here i know i have a second, third & fourth opinion on any problems i may encounter with my new toy.

Hi all, knew to this forum, just purchased a 55 plate 2.7 RRS HSE model, overfinch splinters on, i have always wanted one and finally found one.. any tips from any one as im completey knew to this type of car! im 26 and live in portsmouth area. all i know is i want knew alloys and it needs a cam belt change lol

Hey guys,

Been lurking in the background for a wee while and noticed I haven't posted an intro. Im Chris from Motherwell in Lanarkshire, Bonny Scotland. I currently do not drive a range rover sport however I am on the look out for an old girl with the cheaper tax. My budget will be about £13k-£15k. I realise I may be dreaming but what can I say, I'm a bit of an optimist. I've looked on the usual autotrader etc and there is a few examples out there, but what better place to look than on an enthusiast site such as this. Anyway guys, I'll post a wanted advert up in due course. I hope to learn a lot from you guys, so be gentle .
