I am having to top up coolant level on RRS TDV8 every 10 days about 500ml each time. Any ideas??

I started to get higher temps on my previous RRS TDV8 and on inspection the coolant level had dropped to just below minimum. The vehicle was carted off by LR recovery and the coolant system pressure checked but no leaks found. It happened just that one time - weird.

Having said that, it does sound like you may have a leak!

There was a replacement expansion tank for '57' plate RRS as there was a fault with some. Mine was replaced a couple of years ago as mine kept doing that. Sons of dogs come hither and get flesh

Had a similar problem with my TDV8 last year
After going into 2 different garages and them not able to find the leak . I borrowed a pressure tester and found the leak . it was right in middle of the engine down under all the electrical wiring where the 2 cylinder heads meet the block . A right pain to get to and five mins to fix a o ring on a pipe had failed.

I had a very slow loss of coolant on my 57 plate TDV8. Turned out to be a leak in the manifold that connects all of the coolant pipes in the V below the EGRs. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
