What life expectancy for Anti Roll bushes on a 2010 RRS

Chaps

The question is as per the subject line, mine has just gone past 50k and has gone all clunky and squeeky, is that normal?

Thanks

Reecy

ARBs

Gents

Thanks for the replies---i don't suppose Land Rover are going to replace them under warranty are they ?

If not, would you fit the polyeurathane ones to replace the originals??

Thanks

Reecy

I had the front ARB bushes replaced under the extended warranty so a vehicle in original warranty should be covered I would think.

As for poly bushes, I think there have been comments on here from people who tried it and went back to the LR bushes because the poly ones ruined the ride. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Is this an expensive job out of warranty? L405 P400e Autobiography (MY2020)... Silicon Silver / Espresso
RRS TDV6 HSE Lux (MY2011)... Nara Bronze / Arabica - now gone!

It is a DIY job if you have the tools/ability so it shouldn't be expensive anywhere really. I think a LR dealer charges about £250 fitted so an indie easily should be able to get it below £200. The bushes aren't expensive - it's mostly labour. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

What are the tell tale signs of failure?
Visible failure if I poke around underneath (and am able to identify them)?

I've heard from previous owners / friends that they are a regular replacement item due to wear, so now drive every where thinking 'I wonder if mine are knackered?'!!! 2016 VW Golf GTD DSG

You will hear them knocking if they are worn. Any pothole, speedbump or even a moderately uneven surface will prompt the noise. I could sort of feel the knock under my feet too.

I got 15000km out of the last set - Front, back are fine (6mths)! Dealer replaced under parts warranty. No knocking but bad sqeaking - very embarrasing! My concern is that the vehicles with the ARC are not easy to DIY.
