Were that the case, at least one of us would have seen them on the roads before now. I think I'll hold off @ 10% discount; more likely I'll get a set of late type LED's that one of you chaps take off. I'm also interested to see some proper photos so looking forward to an update from Guyzer above. |

Its often the case that when you launch a product, you bring some in by air to get them out there, and the rest follow by boat. |

good point Stuart, but it's also the case that you let the press and popular blog sites / social media sites review them pre-launch. From these guys, nothing. Big miss in my books. I have minimal experience of launching products, but I do know from experience of launching a business that a shiny website isn't the secret to success.

Got to say I'm disappointed with the 10%, I think they are seriously under estimating the power of word of mouth advertising where thousands of RRS enthusiasts from all over the world get together and talk/mod/discuss their RRS's, you would think we would be first in the queue for a product like this.

I would say more like 2-5 % of the total pages likes are actual Range Rover owners, if that! Remember, a lot of likes on pages are kids liking pages and some can be paid for likes (fake likes). And that applies to a lot of pages, not just this. A bit disappointed, a lot of hype on the forum initially. I like the design and think they look good, the only worry to me would be the indicators, they appear to be a bit hidden and not that obvious to other road users. Will be interesting to see photos once fitted to Guys car. |

Well Stryke here you go Collected them today from DHL so as not to have to wait until Sunday as it's a public holiday and weekend here until then... Anyway, first impressions are very good. They arrived well packaged in a branded black cardboard box and nice and secure. Fitting took a whole 5 minutes, straight plug and play and no issues with the indicator signal flashing too quickly, even on my non LED 2006 Sport. Not sure the electronics required to make the units plug and play for both non LED and LED models, but, it's very nice. So guess you want to see some photos?? Here you go, taken at night so not all that clear but hey ho: Front: Rear: Old and New comparison: New: Old and New Reversing Lights: New reversing lights: Light from new in reverse, from rear bumper outside and on the rear view camera in the mirror: General impressions are excellent quality, great service from the guys at Glohh, love the lights will look even better once I get my 2010 Autobiography bodykit installed... The subject of another thread Is the price worth it? For me yes, For others? well that depends on the individual. Any questions feel free to ask here or drop me a PM. Cheers Guy 2006 RRS S/C CONSTANTLY under modification... 1994 RRC 4.2l not LSE sadly gone but not forgotten LR Defender 300Tdi - affectionately know as "The Black Beast" |
