Hi,
Have recently sold a 2006 disco3 with high mileage for a 2005 RRS with 42k on the clock with FLSH,
I am very pleased with it,but the suspension seems a lot harder!!!
Is there a difference in the set-up?
If so, can someone please tell me the difference,and the cost to go back to the disco 3 type?

Having been a member of the excellent Fullfatrr site for a few years, I'm about to join the RRS ranks. Picking up my 62 plate HSE Luxury on the weekend and looking forward to it. Whilst it's already been superseded by the new model, I was pretty impressed with the car and am pleased with my new toy. I'm looking forward to getting to know the car and will of course hope to pick up the same great tips and advice I've always found on the Fullfatrr site.

Traditionalists need not fear - I still have my trusty td6 vogue SE. 131k on a 56 plate and still going strong!

picked up my sport tdv8 the other day, its done 106k, still feels tight as a nun.

I bought it knowing it had a problem, being that it squeals like a pig under any sort of throttle, ive been told its not the turbos as its not a constant squeak, but it goes with a cylinder so have been told its more likely a manifold leak issue.

Hi all, sadly my 06 Disco Metropolis got a bit tired after 187,000 miles so sadly she has gone and been replaced with a RRS SDV6.The RRS has got some big shoes to fill so hopefully she will rise to the challenge and provide as much motoring joy as the Disco3 ...really sad to see her go. First impressions are good, with a much more positive refined ride, less Sea Sick Steve and more Bono.....surprisingly quick for her weight and the slick 8 speed gearbox is a dream....however I will be still dropping the engine oil every 8000 miles and gearbox oil every 60,000 just like the old disco to keep her sweet.Great site, just like the Disco 3 forum.Thanks

Thought I would say Hello officially, I have owned my first RRS for about 3 weeks now, 2.7 TDV6, 2008, only 38,000 miles not very high specced but i'm pleased with it anyway! Already done a bit to it 20" Overfinch Olympus wheels, 2012 rear lights, side steps, tinted windows, Hawke tail pipes, Autobiography style side vents and front grill, painted calipers red, removed green land rover badge from tailgate. Brilliant forum!
