You will impress those who have an interest in cars and people off who do not.
Must admit for me the RRS did seem to create a more negative opion in peoples mind and leave you more open to inflated pricing if they were aware you had one.
Certainly a far less positive response than people had to DiscoveriesNow driving a rather smart looking Van

Thanks for all of the comments good and bad. I'm still considering options and mulling this over. A very enlightening response to the thread.
I've found a 6 months old BMW 520d M Sport Touring with 5k on the clock, well spec'd for £30,000, low RFL, 50MPG and loads of warranty left. That versus a 2010 RRS with circa 30k on the clock and 30mpg, £400-odd RFL and an additional £1k p.a. for a decent warranty.
Ummm? Decisions decisions.
It's genuinely a tough one as they are both great cars.
Maybe the is is a different subject for a different thread?

30k on the clock is nothing.......having owned a few bmw's both 3 snd 5 series you will have peace of mind regarding the build quality and reliabilty....but i find after the initial month or so honeymoon period they become just another so-so drive.........I don't think that would be the case with the RRS........just my opinion.
