income comes into it, due to the cost, but, i know a few people who earn reasonable money and drive expensive cars, because they don't have outgoings too, apart from the insurance costs and a bit of rent

TST717, Yeah true. Answers are great and good and bad are welcomed. Personality attacks are unnecessary.

So it's not a Crass topic?

I would beg to differ, and would recommend that you retread your original post ........there isn't much about the RRS in there , more about how it makes a ' person' look..........I think you might be on the wrong Forum ........ TDV8 HSE....Gone but not forgotten ....class act

Crass: showing no intelligence or sensitivity.

How am I not showing sensitivity? it's a very straightforward question to my personal dilemma.

No intelligence? Like I said, personal attacks are really not needed.

True, yeah it's all relative I guess. I just prefer play it down than anything else. I guess I could, in theory, buy a 10 year old Bentley but I would feel stupid in one.

Dobbo, it sounds to me that you live and work with people who could be jealous of what you spend your money on and what you drive. Asking people on here what income they have isn't going to give you your answer as to whether you should buy a sport or not. Our income is irrelevant. Put up a list of your income and outgoings and i'm sure plenty of members that will give you good advice. Thumbs Up If you have got 30k to spend on a sport, then go ahead, buy one. Don't live your life worrying about what other people think. Later in life, that will haunt you.

Fair point Ady555, thanks.

I'm trying to hard to justify it to myself to be honest, so maybe that in itself tells me to get something else.

I have always considered other people TOO much and maybe that's a symptom of what I'm going though now.

Cheers,
