hi all, new to rrs ownership last week and 5 days in its in the main dealer for two weeks as a very sick little lady.

2011 tdv6 hse, santorini black, ivory leather and 20" diamonds. was so excited when i picked her up. took a trip to devon and, well stuff happened which i cant explain. good job its under warranty and i had landrover assistance!

horrible knocking sound from underneath and the engine cut out. started (just) but as soon as any gear is selected then it stalls again.

dealer said engine and gearbox total failure! something they havent seen before, and landrover are coming to see it given the unique nature (more likely so they can work a way to get out of paying for it)!!

full service history by main dealer who sold it and only 30,000 miles.

ah well...... ive got a defender at home to fall back on (never had any problems with the defender!)

hope its ok when i get it back......

looking forward to reading through the other posts to see if anyone else has had the same issue....

Just taken possession of RRS TDV8 HSE in Zambezi Silver this afternoon having sold my LR Discovery. Went to look for a Disco 3 or 4 but saw the RRS and decided on it instead. Lovely motor and a joy to drive and looking forward to using it. A November 2007 car with 49k on clock.

Been looking on this site for a week now, while waiting for the car, and have learned a lot, great site.

Hello,i have got Range Rover Sport Supercharged on the suspension if i try to raise the vehicle the lights on the center console the up and down button flushes and cannot rise.Connected the Diagnostic machine and the fault is U-0416>Invalid Data Received From Dynamic Control Module,help me sort this out please.Even the terrain response knob no lights coming on around it.Further more where is this module located?

Almost a year into ownership of our RRS TDV6 07 HSE and it's proving to be brighter than I expected.
I must admit to not being a fan of RR however I'm pleased to say I've really warmed to it.
Hopefully I'm not going to become a pain when/if things start to go wrong!

I did consider a Dodge and a Jeep one, but not for long.

Had a P38 last year just to get the feel of them. Apart from being a bit of a heap with iffy suspension, I was a bit sold on it, so I decided to get a proper one before the snow this year.

I looked at the VW Toe Rag and a Nissan Pathfinder but people didn't look at them with envy!

I get comments all the time about the RRS.

I own 2009 supercharged use to have the tdv8 but wow the performance is amazing
