That's a bit surprising, I thought you had become quite fond of the Q7.

The Q7 is probably a 'better' vehicle for what we use it for but it lacks something that you can't quite put your finger on.

SPX I can sympathise with that! I defected to Audi a year ago got a new shape A8 4.2TDI Quatro thought I'd cracked it with such a lovely car and TBH it has been faultless! Just come back from 1000 mile round trip on less than 2 full tanks (£110) per tank. The other year I done the same trip in my RRS 4.2S/C at a cost of about £600 !

The Q7 costs £140 to fill up and I get about 500-550 miles to a tank...

An engine if available is £6995 plus vat exchange, add two turbos and various other bits and you get near £12 grand add labour and oils and your into expensive car at £13k but needing an engine. 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀

I know what you mean. I considered a Q7 before I bought one, however after trying one It just didn't appeal to me. Don't get me wrong they are very good cars and are "technically' better but as you say they just lack that something. 2014 L405 SDV8 RR Autobiography 2012 RRS SDV6 HSE -Orkney Grey with A/B bodykit - Now Gone 2007 RRS TDV6 HSE - Zermatt Silver - Gone |

TDV8 doesn't compare with the 4.2 TDI IMO, which can be remapped to almost 400BHP. 2014 L405 SDV8 RR Autobiography

If I could shoehorn the 4.2TDI into a RR Sport, I'd be in heaven! |
