It seems that there are plenty of people around who do... 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders 2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed |

I had a similar JLR experience with an April 2008 XF when within 12 months the 2.7D was replaced by two versions of the 3.0D. |

All kidding aside, what 'bothers' me the most is that these 'updates' (I don't know/care about the parking assistant) were already announced on the launch of the new RRS. I for instance like the idea of having the tracking unit in the car and the geek in me likes the InControl app to follow up fuel consumption etc. It could be however that this technology is already in the first RRS, but needs to be activated or so, I truely hope so.

I fully understand you. I myself have contacted my dealer with the same question too, asking whether they could retrofit it. Same response, no they can't. If it were possible to cancel the current order the earliest delivery date would be march (instead of december). I decided not to cancel my order, the car wouldn't drive better because of the new gizmo's, but it does sting a bit. The feeling will probably go away when I drive the car, but still... |

I wonder if Land Rover will follow Jaguar and ditch the Denso satnav for iGO Primo in 2015MY cars. Jag has done this in 2014 MY XF's, but not the XJ. |

It does seem a bit soon to be updating a model that is hardly off the production line yet - I would definitely not be happy if I'd paid a deposit. waited months and then found I had the old model before it was even delivered - especially if spending £80k

'Our' online configurator is down at the moment. Yesterday was the launch of the new Ranger Rover (aka MY2014), no sign of the 2014.5 though...

Nope, still no new pricing available, it seems. I'm kinda interested, though |
