Hi Graham, It is difficult to show the articulation and massage in a still image unfortunately, however I have included a picture that indicates where the additional movement is in the seat. And Baco, the 15MY spec details will be some time away, however when I hear more information on this I will be happy to update further. Many thanks, Pete Please note although Land Rover will try to assist you with your issue, we are unable to provide any technical advice. Thanks, Pete! I'm heavily torn between an Evoque and a new RRS at the moment. There was talk of the MY15 version being available around september, is that still possible? |

Morning Pete, The picture above shows the same/very similar movement plain as the 18 way seats on topix. |

Why the upper articulation doesn't count as two more 'ways' I don't know. |

Hi All,
It is very possible that the 15MY will be available to order from approximately September onwards, however at this early stage in the year I would not be able to confirm any order dates or production dates.
Unfortunately it is difficult to represent the addition movement / settings of the seat through a still picture. What I would however recommend, is contacting your local dealership to see if they have a model with the features for you to experience in person or even test drive the vehicle.
I can understand your point on this, although I think the part they were trying to highlight was the upper seat articulation which would not have been represented as well by just listing the seat as a "20 way seat" option. Hope that clears things up a bit. Many thanks, Pete Please note although Land Rover will try to assist you with your issue, we are unable to provide any technical advice. Phil, If you look the handbook on topix is shows two kinds of seats. The main handbook has 16 way. The supplement has 18 way, now with upper angle adjustment. Now if the new seats is yet another then yes we have 20 way seats. If they have taken the upper seat back angle of and now you are back to 16 way unless you pay more for the new ones. So Pete my next question is on a AB spec car with 18 way seats do we still get the upper angle adjust. |

Style 5, standard on AB, is billed as "18 way driver front seat, 18 way passenger front seat, electric front seat adjustment with driver and passenger memory, front seat armrest, four way lumbar, power headrest" whilst the optional Style 7 is the same but with "with front seat massage, driver and passenger upper front seat articulation". The manual (page 17) shows 18 ways without the articulation. The supplement on Page 2 shows 20 ways for the articulated seats.

If you have to have the high end RSE, that certainly makes it an expensive option! Mark

HSE is 14 way - (no powered headrests and no bolster inflation?) All the modes are: 1. Cushion length. 2. Bolster inflate/deflate. (Style 5) 3. Lumbar support. (4 way) 4. Seat upper back angle. (Style 7) 5. Seat back angle. 6. Head restraint height. (Style 5) 7. Seat height. 8. Forward and rearward position. 9. Cushion tilt. So Style 3 = 14 ways, 5 = 18 and 7 = 20. I think.
