Also check that your rear lights are all working, failed lamps in the light units can throw up strange warnings. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

If you get a continuos tone from rear once in reverse you have a faulty sensor or failed rear bumper loom. Not uncommon. 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀

Fronts should work independently as the sound for these comes from speaker under dash that gives indicator sound strange I know. Front looms also prone to rubbing through 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀

Hi Jack, Did you resolve your issues with these repairs? How much did they cost? I've picked up a car second hand today with both of those faults (PDC and Suspension Lean) but seems to be related to battery power - i.e. if I take the car for a long run before restarting the engine it seems fine... I'd appreciate any help/advice before I get it looked at. Gary |

Change the battery for a new one, its always a good idea. It could also be alternator, depending on age of the car. Gone - 2008 Stornoway Grey RRS 2.7 TDV6

Agreed. Use a LR battery too. The new ones they use are a tad pricey but at least you can then rule out the battery. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

hi Gary sorry to hear of your troubles. my issues were not battery related. the PDC was a faulty sensor and the suspension issue required a valve replacement. These came at under £400 07 TDV8 + BAS map |
