Depending upon the deal that I am offered I am toying with the idea of buying a new 'old style' AB sport, am I mad to even be thinking about this? There does seem to be some good deals to be had but I can't help but wonder what the resale value will be.
Also, I rather like the idea of Firenze red, I have always opted for either black or grey before but I quite fancy a change, does anyone on here have an AB in Firenze by any chance? If so would they be kind enough to post a picture.

EF....clearly the farming industry is not affected by the harsh economic climate at the moment

Personally, although an A/B in Frienze red would look , I think you are not really going to get anything extra for a your money apart from a body kit and a change of colour. You already have an HSE Lux , so it's not like your touring around in a poverty spec SE

At the end of the day, you pays your money, you takes your choice, but if it was me, I'd have a hard time justifying it to myself.

Thanks BC your input makes a lot of sense, I probably can't really justify changing yet it was just an idea as I am not sure if I am keen on the look of the new model. As you say, toys wise my Lux has as much, if not a little more (adaptive lights & Sunroof) than the AB, but I do rather like the AB Body kit.

It looks as if I missed the boat anyway, I am told that there are very few of the old model left and probably no red at all.

Why not just have the body kit fitted to your motor and save yourself a packet. Main dealers do offer this kit.

EF - you've started me now

Went to look at new RRS's yesterday - 0% finance available and looking at prices of new model will be some time before I will be in a position to change even with the 18 months warranty left on mine

Looked at an SE because it is cheap but unsure about losing keyless entry, reverse cam and folding mirrors
