At the end of the day, it's your money, but I'd be inclined to stick with the car you have for another 18 months, yes, changing will get you a further warranty, but there's no way I'd drop to an SE spec from and HSE, it'll eat you up not having those small, but very nice, little extra's.  ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

Changing and adding 2 year extended warranty will give me 3.5 years additional peace of mind, cost me nothing for 2 years if I take the 0% deal and the current HSE is way ahead of MY10 in refinement

Also I have a short time left to use a little sweetener from last year or I lose it

Keeping mine for another 18 months is tempting though and saving "loads of money" in 2 years time

Ignore the Broadspeed discount, you will get much better than that at a dealer without much negotiation and still be able to access the 0% finance particularly if you take a car they have in stock
