Check the Sat Nav unit to see if the gps cable has been dislodged from the unit by somebody's feet .

Thanks have had a look at unit and all wires are connected Can anyone tell me where the GPS ariel can be located so I can check that end is OK |

Does your Sat Nav have the option to look at the satellites that are being used and signal strength?

Unfortunately this option is not available on my unit Lost GPS signal in UK whilst on long trip it just started telling me I was in the North Sea after having worked fine |

Get into the secret menu and you will be able to see what the GPS is seeing. Mike

MikeB, I think MSE is referring to the diagnostics menu accessed using the '753' code. If you search for '753' (without the quote marks) you'll find the instructions to get into it. One of the options shows you the altitude and longitude and latitude plus all sorts of other gobblydegook. Presumably if the antenna ain't working then this information may not be showing? 2008 MY Java Black TDV8 HSE |
