Harman Kardon ICE is there a better alternative

Firstly I have to say I'm rather impressed with the sound system upgrade that the first owner of my truck has had installed, the Harman Kardon set up delivers all the power I need and sounds OK. I'm a bit of an audiophile to be honest and while my old ears are losing their frequency range almost daily Laughing I can't help but wonder if I should consider an alternative for my beloved Sport.

I am a trained HGV Mechanic but would never touch vehicle electrics, especially those as complicated as found in a RRS so if you know of a system less than a grand that I really really should have put in and just the right company to install it, let me know.

Thanks in advance

Being of an age where hearing is not as good as it used to be, I have to say that the Harman system in mine is better than upgrade system friend had installed in his Disco 3
I have upgrade with logic 7 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀
TDV8 Sport HSE...... Gone. Loved it but it didn't love me!!
Now rolling in MY10 Fullfat TDV8 Vogue. Slammed it to go round corners🙈
Cruising daily #56 mph in a Volvo V8. 😱

You could change the speakers to get a slightly better range and clarity, but not the amps or head unit as it needs the LR one for other functions to work.
You could drive a seperate amp from some of the speaker wires, either for an additional bass or different speakers. But tbh, it's pretty damn good for a car and all its variables taken into account of road surface, wind noise, suspension/wheels all make a difference believe it or not. Bodsys Brake Bible

Sorry for the tardy reply but I've been in hospital all week. Thanks guys, I might give the speakers a coat of looking at, or at least get a local specialist to do it and see what they recommend. As I said its a HK install so good anyway but I'd like it a bit louder with a bit more bass maybe

Hope all is well now
Mine is plenty loud enough and has plenty of base, so maybe worth checking your system is actually working as it should. 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀

It's loud and the base is more than adequate but my Daughter and her boyfriend said it needs more and i agree it could use maybe a bigger or additional sub woofer. its fine as it is TBH but it has such a clean, crisp sound from the unit i reckon with a few quid it could be superb
