Ady it's not the sort of thing that floats my boat Rolling with laughter
As it only does it under load and not in neutral there is a bit of head scratching going on. If it is a shield or cover then usually do it all the time I would think. Let the professionals work it out Thumbs Up 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀

Friday the 13th, 13th page...... It's all bad luck. Spoke to Guy Salmon this afternoon and they are still non the wiser.
Have had a sense of humor failure with Land Rover Exec office by email as I don't think I would have been able to control my temper talking to someone. Tamping would be closer. Took four weeks to get the engine changed once they had it, then had to take it all to bits again to change turbo after whistle. If they say body is going to have to come off again I am going to throw towel in and demand a cheque. Finally had enough Censored Censored ! 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀

I think you have been incredibly patient Shocked

Enough is enough - they need to offer you an unbelievable deal on a new one or your money back so you can buy a vehicle that works Evil or Very Mad

Your experience is enough to put anyone off buying a LR vehicle Big Cry Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

I don't see how blindly taking the body off will help. There is no way to see a vibration; it must be diagnosed before stripping surely.

There are the obvious stuff like bent pulleys on alternator, A/C compressor etc. which should be visible and audible if you use a stethoscope on the engine block.

In my opinion, other possibilities to ask the dealer is they're view on whether, if the vibration is engine speed related and occurs at the same band of revs in every gear I'd suspect a faulty injector or injection timing.

The other possibility is you have a sticky inlet valve causing a slight miss-fire.
