United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Cairns Blue

Have asked the Pope for special status Bow down this has been a real lesson in being humble and waiting Whistle something I'm not good at Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter
After three hours in the dealer while they sorted the bill out, I have finally got the car back and on drive home which was conducted at running in speeds, managed 27. 9 mpg in town driving Shocked
The bill is 8 pages long, the parts fitted include all sorts including new under tray bolts, wheel nuts and and pipe clips Big Cry
I am not at liberty to divulge how much help LR has given, having given my word that all dealings will remain confidential Thumbs Up but I will say that I am pleasantly gobsmacked Shocked
The car seems to be ok, but really won't be testing it until it has a few miles and an oil change under its belt. Certainly sounds and smells new.
Ended up with new alternator, starter, battery, water pump, three turbos Yawn intercooler, intake pipes and manifolds, cats and centre exhaust and all the associated gaskets bolts and clips as well as complete engine, a years Mot and four wheel alignment Thumbs Up
The car broke down on the 23rd of January and now finally back all shinny. Happy camper Laughing
A big Bow down Bow down to Andrew at Guy Salmon Bristol for putting up with my daily phone calls chasing and harassing him and for his patience and professionalism when I lost mine. You deserve a pay rise mate Thumbs Up

Crying or Very sad
Back in the dealer this morning. There is a real harshness in the engine @ 2000 rpm. As the gearbox has been reset, it is holding gears beyond the 18-1900 it used to change at. So now on gentle throttle you can feel a vibration up your leg from pedal and through your arse. Tech thinks its EGR related as the exhaust note changes slightly. So back in the workshop to investigate Banging Head Banging Head 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀

Really sorry to hear that things are still not right. So many things that were dismantled and if put together slightly out of adjustment could cause vibration I guess? Something touching somewhere it shouldn't?
Fingers crossed for you yet again. 2008 MY Java Black TDV8 HSE
