If you have already had your turbo/s replaced previously, then my guess is that the last time they went that they sucked some of the fins into the engine and whoever replaced your turbo/s hasn't picked up on this and has cut a few corners hence why your engine is now fooked. I'd throw it back at the people that replaced your turbo/s and ask them a few questions. Hopefully it was a main dealer that carried out the work previously, you might have half a chance in them footing the repair bill. |

^^^ Agreed, with that sort of mileage, I'd say a previous poor quality repair was to blame for it going so soon after. ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

if the work was done by LR (at £9k, it sounds like it) then I would be having a word with Liam@landrovercustomerservices send him a PM, he'll listen to your case properly and help you get a satisfactory response.

Engine is original, the turbos were replaced by dealer at 8 months and two years by lr dealer. The error code and limp mode only appear when car has been parked up for long period. Am fairly sure it's a lung full of fuel as there were no engine failing noises but never say never. |

I wouldn't touch it, i would let L/R deal with it and let the diagnose the problem, i'd be very surprised if the turbo's are knacked though. |

I'd be surprised if Land Rover ignored your situation. At only 49,000 miles that's well behind the warranty mileage of 60,000 but I guess you're over the 3 years. I should think they would make a contribution of some kind (at least) as you'd still have significant rights under the Sale of Goods act which looks at a vehicles service life of at least 6 years.

Definitely contact LRCS and see what they say - 49k is nothing and with all the problems you have had they need to help you out |
