Yep usually the grill or side or seat rubbing centre console. The grill is held in by four plastic lugs that push into metal clips. Do it when dash is warm as I did it on cold day and broke two lugs off. Fitted new one with sticky felt between dash and grill. 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀

If you use a PLASTIC type paint scraper as a wedge, it should be possible to un clip without breaking any lugs. Its not an easy area being so close to the screen. Once you have taken it off, do as simples says, use some felt between grille and dash. I sometimes use black foam drought excluder from the hardware store. Gone - 2008 Stornoway Grey RRS 2.7 TDV6
