Dashboard Plastic Speaker Cover Creak

Hi, my 2010 HSE has an annoying creak from the dash when driving over uneven surfaces. I've located it to the cheap plastic cover shown here. I'd like to remove it and refit. Does anyone have any fixes or instructions for removing?

Cheers,
Lee.

Yep usually the grill or side or seat rubbing centre console. The grill is held in by four plastic lugs that push into metal clips. Do it when dash is warm as I did it on cold day and broke two lugs off. Fitted new one with sticky felt between dash and grill. 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀
TDV8 Sport HSE...... Gone. Loved it but it didn't love me!!
Now rolling in MY10 Fullfat TDV8 Vogue. Slammed it to go round corners🙈
Cruising daily #56 mph in a Volvo V8. 😱
Lots of other toys in the cupboard...😜

If you use a PLASTIC type paint scraper as a wedge, it should be possible to un clip without breaking any lugs. Its not an easy area being so close to the screen. Once you have taken it off, do as simples says, use some felt between grille and dash. I sometimes use black foam drought excluder from the hardware store. Gone - 2008 Stornoway Grey RRS 2.7 TDV6
