Hi everyone

Well after a few months of thinking about it I finally decided to go to my local dealer to test drive a Discovery. I then drove the RRS and, although I always fancied the Disco for space etc, realised that the RRS suited my driving needs better so, following a bit of haggling on the price, today took delivery of an HSE Black edition in Sand. A not very popular colour but I like it. I did think of waiting for the new model but it seems as though there are loads of per orders and I the deal I got was attractive enough to take the run-out model

Hopefully it won't hurt the pocket too much. My last car, a V8 SUV 4x4 barely managed 10mpg but that was during the last 4 years in Saudi Arabia where fuel is the equivalent of 9 pence per litre!

Anyhow, looking forward to driving it and getting a few tips from the forum

You should not have any problems for now with such a new car.

Hello Fellow RRS Owners!
We're new to the RRS having previously owned a 2001 4.0ltr P38, which we really enjoyed owning & driving.
Is it just me or is there something decidedly primal & instinctive about Land Rovers?, like making fire, it gives you a warm feeling owning and playing with it.
