i thought the omega bracelets were good when looking, i expect to be round the £2k mark, but might put a little extra in for the right watch

£2k should get you a good, second hand Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean which would be a very good buy (all things being relative of course)

Blowers are expensive, google Precision jewellers Doncaster and see what John's got in.

If there's nothing particular that takes your fancy, ring him and he can find you what you need.

I've bought a couple of watches from him, he's a straight and genuine bloke.

NPINKS................... I have bought many watches online from Watches.co.uk .... The people there are trustworthy , knowledgeable and if they say their watch is excellent 10/10 condition , what they mean is that it is like new.... i cannot recommend them highly enough...... good watches / excellent prices ......

You cannot go wrong with a Rolex SS Daytona / GMT or Explorer ( Black dial ) for an everyday watch.......

TST TDV8 HSE....Gone but not forgotten ....class act
Cayenne S diesel.....850n/m....385bhp....the danglies ...

Good thread,I like watches, who's brave enough to admit they have a copy though Laughing I know quite a few lads that lets just say aren't short of a few quid, but still have copy's.One even owns a very large well known jewellers but has worn a fake Patek for 3 years. He bought it on a lads jolly to Thailand,it's not lost time since.
Another guy is such a good customer to Patek they fly him out to collect his watches, again he has a few.

Tissot touch everyday for me,£650 and is bomb proof Thumbs Up

Have been looking at one of these for an 'everyday watch' but have 3 friends all of whom have nothing but trouble with them and said 'whatever you do, don't make the same mistake as us' - shame, as I think they are really nice.

Re: fakes........yup, I have one Embarassed , a Panerai Luminor bought from one of my work trips to Thailand. Have never claimed it's real to anyone, bought it because I just like the larger size of it and also means I'm not so precious with it on holidays etc. ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i
MERCEDES GL350 - Metallic Navy Blue w/Grey interior

GOING: BMW F31 335D MSport+ xDrive Touring
GONE: Land Rover Discovery 4 HSE - Stornaway Grey w/Black Interior (wish we'd kept it Banging Head )
GONE: BMW F10 520D MSport - Carbon Black
GONE:MY12 RRS SDV6 HSE Sumatra/Ivory/Grand Black Privacy glass

Strange as I can honestly say mine has never given me a scrap of trouble, and its been everywhere.Had a Sunto Core now that was pants, nearly at the stage you have to carry a spare battery Rolling Eyes
As has been said Nick reputable source or recommendation these days,as copys are getting very good.My wife is in the same club as Bean, she has a client on Bond street and the number of people he gets with fakes thinking they have genuine is frightening, they have paperwork aswell.
My Tissot

Just had a new battery so its not set yet Thumbs Up
Just because Grahams looked so nice on the wrist. This is my favourite not real but I just liked it.

the watches.co.uk website, seems very good, when you compare it to Blowers effort

it sounds like they have a store too to go in to and a buyers beware guide, and they sound like they know what they are doing regarding fakes

having a good look, obviously as its been bought to remember my grandad, i watch original and buying used means im getting a bit better watch for my money,

but theres nothing to stop a fake or two ending up in my small collection, but haven't a clue were to get good ones from, Thailand by the sounds of it Laughing

best not post links to fake watch websites though, against the forum rules Smile
