Personally I love an automatic, something a little more 'special' about them IMO.
The downside is if you leave it for a couple of days you need to set it again, but you can't have everything. Cool ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

My Seiko Kinetic resets itself, even after a few weeks of been locked away

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged HST Java Black

npinks dont know if you have them near you but think there are a few through out the north. but try market cross jewellers . they price match high street then knock a bit off and if you take out one of there cards (you dont ever need to use it or pay anything for it) they give you some more discount. when i got me omega from them it worked out 50 quid cheaper than i would have paid in duty free so quite a fair bit cheaper then most high street shops

as for buying a winder i considered this but was told by a watch repairer not to bother , people worry about the oil congeling if not been used he said it very very rarely happens as the amount is minute and the quality of oil so good. he also said there is more wear and tear done by a watch winder. in laymens terms how he put it to me - what would last longer bearings on a car that is used only at weekends or one that is going 24 hours a day everyday. makes sense to me and only takes a minute to re adjust it only the dead truely know peace,
Bootneck its not a job its a way of life!

If you are ever in London

then have a look in Burlington Arcade. It is an arcade full of high quality pre owned watch shops Very Happy

Breguet and IWC are websites to mooch through pre visit if you like quality watches on the larger side. Graham

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Santorini Black

Just caught up with this thread, very interesting and I have to admit to being a complete watch addict Embarassed

In no particular order (because I rotate wearing them)-

Rolex Daytona SS
Hublot ceramic Big Bang (all black)
Tag Monaco blue face (just given to my son as a birthday present)
Tag Carrera white face
Cartier Panthere (the only quartz movement I own)

Just ordered a Audemars Piguet Royal Oak with brown leather strap (not sure how I'm going to explain that one to she who must be obeyed!!).

I wish they would stop making nice watches that I just have to buy Whistle MY12 RRS SDV6 HSE
Santorini Black with piano black wood and truffle leather
Hawke tips and all black grill
Privacy glass

Gone: too many to mention !!

I know the feeling....i'm a total watch addict.

The main rotations are a Patek Philippe 5146R or a Zenith El Primero for work.
A Jaeger-LeCoultre Tourbillon Ultra Thin for more formal occasions.

Then a Tag 6000, Omega Seamaster, Hublot Classic Fusion, plus a few others for other such occasions. Now
