Looking at some of the 'airy arms in this thread, it's a shame nobody won Superclean's "One Off Custom Wax Competition" last year. L405 P400e Autobiography (MY2020)... Silicon Silver / Espresso
RRS TDV6 HSE Lux (MY2011)... Nara Bronze / Arabica - now gone!

Well my search will have to continue, been in to the Omega shop in Leeds and tried the Planet Ocean Chronograph on and it was HUGE on my wrist, must have also been about 10-15mm thick and just didn't sit right, tried another chrono on which I think was in the Speedmaster Range and that was 42.5mm size and that suited me more

So the search starts again

Bristling have an excellent watch which is smaller and thinner. The Superocean Heritage. It comes in two sizes, 42 and 46. They are also on the more sensible side of cost, sensible being relative.........

IWC's tend to be on the larger side but are my faves. Graham

The 42mm Omega was perfect fit, but the style of the Speedmaster wasn't as nice, just something about its face and dials

It was nice in its own right, but the chunkyness of the planet ocean made it feel, more!... the thiner smaller one, just didn't have the look at me factor, i think i need a good trying on session with cash in my pocket, It also didn't have the clear back to see the movement which look special

Hi Nick,

Am in danger of saying try Burlington Arcade again, worth a trip down and gives you the chance of trying on lots of brands. Some watches look very different in the flesh.

Try this one for example

http://www.iwc.com/en/collection/aquatimer/IW3568/

The white faced one in particular.

The photos don't do justice to the blend of polished and brushed steel edges. The workmanship is superb.
