Turbo replacement on tdv8

Recently replaced both turbos without removing the body.Job done in 2 days,not easy but better than taking thre body off!

2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Not really. Body can be off in 2 hours... Also gives you the chance to replace the front and front-rear brake pipes at the same time. And if it does need any rear suspension bushes, it gives great access to replace them without stuggling with tight access or seized bolts Whistle

Mikey really only 2h Shocked is it the same for Sport? At my local LR dealer they told me that they need approx.15h( body off and on again) 2008 RRS TDV8 HSE, Java black, Alpaca,.....

Body off in 2, providing there are no seized bolts to deal with. Each turbo is a couple of hours (ish), and allow 4 hours to refit body, bleed brakes, double check the work done and a road test Thumbs Up

Hi Naks, thanks but dont have the lifting equipment and ramp hence I am trying another way to access the turbos, any guidance and pics to assist
