I dont have that Problem in my rrs.

Had it in my Saab and it was coming from the air condition.
It was an open flap on the inner way to the window, this floatend after stopping
the Engine the dust from the condensator into the inner car.

Maybe thats a similar Problem?

Best,
René

I see where this is heading, but this happens when no body is in the car.
Will take some photos tomorrow. 91 BMW 850CSI

Do you switch your Air Conditioning off or leave it on all year?

Switching it off can cause fogging.

Well.
It is on, but I was wondering that it could be missing some fluid.
I bought the car recently and it has no maintenance history and I doubt there has anything been done except the nessisery. 91 BMW 850CSI

There could be water sitting in the system. There is a drain somewhere under the vehicle that allows water to escape when the air con is running on damp days. If this is blocked then the water can't get out and you get fogging. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

As NIck says check for damp/wet carpets.
Do you have a sunroof because these are also prone to leaking if the drain pipes are blocked water can run down the inside if the windscreen pillars.
You can normally smell if its damp inside MY10 3.0 HSE Santorini Black, Ivory Premium & extended leather, privacy, paddles, diamond turned alloys, Ipod lead that charges, tasmods, rrsport.co.uk stickers

I will check the carpets and how can I check the drains?
If the drains are clogged, where does the water go? Wet carpets? 91 BMW 850CSI

What year model is it?

My 2007 I could leave the Aircon on "AUTO" 100% of the time and it would deal with anything.

My 2012 mists up in cold damp weather and I have to manually turn the fans up to clear it. Although on AUTO it does play with the fan speed and heat on its own I feel it has a different programme to to 2007

If my drains are clogged and I have been having this for some time. Could I be looking at some rust damage? 91 BMW 850CSI

I have found out that on my LHD RRS the footwell is wet.
Would that be from the sunroof or the a/c drain? 91 BMW 850CSI
