2010 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Zermatt Silver
Bought a TDV8 Today!

Well after looking at a disappointing HSE TDV6 yesterday, I found a superb TDV8 which I drove away today, here's the advert...

http://www.romansofstalbans.co.uk/car.php?car=1453

It's done 42k miles, full Landrover service history and comes with brand new Pirelli tyres and unmarked 20" alloys, new MOT and 12months tax. He gave me 10k for my FL2 and I paid £16k cash on top, but I also have a 2 year warranty with them. Drove it home and the V8 is phenomenal! Cool Just needs rear tints & clear indicators for starters!

Cheers, just popped out in the snow to fill 'er up and the battery light is now on! The dealer (non LR) had replaced the battery with a LR part before sale, but I'm guessing it's the alternator and the new battery possibly hid the issue? Will get on the phone tomorrow, thank god for the warranty! Thumbs Up

Congrats on your vehichle choice, it looks a very nice example Thumbs Up Once you have sorted you electrical gremlins out, which these motors seem to have a few of them Whistle i'd check out your warranty in finer detail and check that its suitable for a RRS, some warranties arn't worth the paper they are written on Big Cry Next job, get one of these asap http://www.rrsport.co.uk/forum/topic23416.html Enjoy your new motor.

Thumbs Up

Worth checking the leads, I had this on brother in laws car (Corsa) after he had a new battery fitted by garage, I found a battery lead was loose and hence battery light was on within the dash.

Should be able to have your name changed. I was Shiny Blue for 6 months on the D3 site, before change of D3 caused a change of name. RRS MY12 SE Siberian Silver, Ocean, Ivory and Walnut.

The warranty specifically covers alternator & individual claims up to £1k, it's basically warrantied by the garage/dealer I bought it from and they will either do the work or approve costs as I'm not local, will check the battery connectors tomorrow and if still an issue call them & get Guava in Guildford to sort it out, always used them for my FL2 and cracking service... Thumbs Up
