Cheers, just popped out in the snow to fill 'er up and the battery light is now on! The dealer (non LR) had replaced the battery with a LR part before sale, but I'm guessing it's the alternator and the new battery possibly hid the issue? Will get on the phone tomorrow, thank god for the warranty! |

Congrats on your vehichle choice, it looks a very nice example Once you have sorted you electrical gremlins out, which these motors seem to have a few of them i'd check out your warranty in finer detail and check that its suitable for a RRS, some warranties arn't worth the paper they are written on Next job, get one of these asap http://www.rrsport.co.uk/forum/topic23416.html Enjoy your new motor.

Worth checking the leads, I had this on brother in laws car (Corsa) after he had a new battery fitted by garage, I found a battery lead was loose and hence battery light was on within the dash.

The warranty specifically covers alternator & individual claims up to £1k, it's basically warrantied by the garage/dealer I bought it from and they will either do the work or approve costs as I'm not local, will check the battery connectors tomorrow and if still an issue call them & get Guava in Guildford to sort it out, always used them for my FL2 and cracking service... |
