Don't despair these are all common failures. Driver's door probably requires a new latch which is an easy job. The suspension issue could be a blockage in the drier which can be fixed without fitting a new compressor. Think I would want to know who was going to do this work since the air side of suspension requires a bit of experience and the right diagnostics kit. Would be interesting if Romans could be persuaded to tell you. Good luck and please keep this thread updated.

Cheers Paddi, they've done quiet a lot of work before & have shifted umpteen Range Rovers/ Sports and use their local LR dealer for parts & diagnostics so I stand a chance, apparently the compressor has to be the new type which has been improved according to Guava but needs abit of fitting/piping mods...

Yes there is an updated compressor - now AMK - Just had one of these fitted to my P+J. See Disc-Mikey's brilliant 'how to' on fitting it here: http://www.rrsport.co.uk/forum/post358187.html#358187
However you would not want just any old oily rag with a lock-up fitting for you. Needs a bit of experience and there is now a software update for this compressor too. Had mine fitted by an independent specialist 'Autoland' in Houghton Regis (not far from St Albans) and they did a good job at reasonable rates so might be worth mentioning to Romans. It is not in your interest or theirs to have a poor job done since it will only result in more aggro. 2008 MY Java Black TDV8 HSE

Went out in it today & no faults on the suspension, moved it up/down 4 or 5 times on the driveway and still no warnings? Maybe the car had been sat unused for 2/3 months and now it's cleared? Will still get it checked out but maybe light at the end of the tunnel, front hydro bushes & drivers door lock aside... Rolling with laughter
