I changed the sun visor bulbs too. Really bad feedback from the Mrs. Sad The complaint was they were too bright. So much that allegedly it was impossible for her to look at the mirror. I'm being urged to revert to the standard, dull, yellow filament bulbs. Have been resisting/ignoring for the past 3 days because then they won't match the rest of the interior lights, all of which are white now.

My suggestion of using goggles while using the sun visor mirror in the dark (which is only when the LED brightness is apparently a problem) didn't go down too well either Laughing

Ady, are those spare fuse slots? If so, where did you get the fuse adaptors for the wiring?

Ady - thanks for the link. I thought I'd thanked you but obviously not so....thanks Thumbs Up

Well...the LEDs haven't lasted the test of time. One of my sidelights is completely dead and the other one has only 3 of the 6 LEDs still working.

The number plate LEDs also have a couple of the small LEDs out. Not impressed. Luckily I have a few spare. I have some 9 LED bulbs so hoping that these will last a bit longer.

It was this type

Any tips on how you remove these T5 vanity mirror bulbs when I can't even seem to grip them?

Tweezers, put some insulation tape around them so that they grip better. Thumbs Up

Ady, thanks for the tip got them out. Took out the fuse just in case I shorted against anything.

Just ordered led replacements now I know what these bulbs are as they don't match the festoon bulbs shown in my manual.

Managed to replace all the other bulbs on the interior even the tricky glove box. Centre map light was a little pain as the holder popped out as I was pushing in led replacement so had to remove the whole unit from the headlining to put the holder back in place.

Wondering about changing fog lights, side lights, cornering lights, indicators and repeaters next but although you get a better colour from LEDs I'm not all that convinced about their brightness. Anyone else replaced their external lights with LEDs?

So far on the outside I have changed number plate bulbs and reversing bulbs. Standard reversing bulbs were next to useless couldn't see a thing at least with the LEDs they give off enough brightness for the camera to work.
