Are you sure it isn't coming from the upper glovebox lid? A few of us have rattly latches that sound like they're coming from the windscreen area.

This is a standard annoying creak and I have it as well - it is the square speaker grill. I do not have it in hot temps above 30 degrees c but get it a lot in winter when temps are around zero. I have tried spraying it with various lubricants but it is still there.

i also have this ive tried taking the cover off but still doesnt solve the problem if its one thing i hate in cars its a rattle or sqeak |
